BEAUTY: OMG! Salon Advertisement Shows Abused Women Can Have Good Hair When They Visit Them! ***

I offically think that this is the year of the weirdest and oddest advertisement!

Fluid Hair, a Canadian salon released a six-ad series entitled, “Look good in all you do” more than one year ago to bring more business to their salon but it seems like all they are getting is BAD Business with at least two of their pictures.

The owner of the Edmonton-based Fluid Hair, Sarah Cameron thinks the advertisement was "art" and they were not meant to cause any trouble and she has no real reason to get rid of the photos.

So what is the cause of these controvesy? Well it all began with the following pictures...

The 1st disturbing advertisement on their facebook (above) shows a woman with a black eye sitting in a designer dress on a floral couch and behind her stands a man holding a diamond necklace seemingly showing that this is what you have to go through in order to live a high-risk lifestyle and taking lightly to the dangerous issues of partner abuse. Reading “Look good in all you do."

The picture on Fluid Salon's facebook has more than 200 comments complaining about the photo.

The 2nd disturbing advertisement on their facebook (above) is very suggestive. It shows a woman wearing tights, a bra and an open vest sitting on an old mattress in what appears to be in an alley, smoking a cigarette, looking like she just gave a sexual favor. Again, reading “Look good in all you do".

Wild, right???

What does Sarah Cameron, the owner, have to say?

"We just like art, and it's also objective."

"It might strike a chord, but as the way our society and community is getting, we keep tailoring everything because everyone is getting so sensitive...Anyone who has a connection or a story behind anything can be upset or have an opinion. We are not trying to attack anyone." Her favorite quote on her own Facebook page is, "you should try everything in life twice except for incest and folk dancing."

Even with all of the bad press, Cameron said the salon hopes to run a similar series of six photos within the next year.

I am very interested in what people think about this... so, what do you think???
