DOLCE & GABBANA’S PEPLUMED EGGPLANT-PRINT DRESS, $2,475.
Fashion is always changing and evolving but this is something that you could only expect to see in a magazine! NYTimes.com featured some pictures from a magazine called, T Magazine who created a spread that was inspired by Giuseppe Arcimboldo, a16th Century Italian painter that was all about food and fashion. The spread featured food fashion looks with everything from candy to fish! Check out the pictures below.

The dresses by Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada are going to be the subjects of the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute show that opens in New York on May 10, 2012.

I have to say that I took a liking to the pink candy inspired look and the red reef dress above, but the other dresses don't move me as much. I can appreciate the art in some ways though but the fish in the mouth.... not sure about that!!!
What do you think? Is this art or just a mess?
