The very poplar “Brazilian Blowout” keeps making beauty headlines…but not for the best.
The company, Brazilian Blowout, that makes the straightening formula used for the blowout is under investigation because a carcinogen chemical called Formaldehyde has been found in the product. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says low levels of exposure can cause irritation of the skin, eyes, nose and throat. High levels of exposure may cause some kinds of cancers, the CDC says.
