First it was a Mac line of lipstick called Pink Friday that sold millions and now Nicki Minaj is going to have her own line of OPI Nail Polish! The collection of polishes have six very pretty colors all named after (or based) on her songs/albums.

Sources say that the collection should hit stores and be on your nails by January 2012! Best of luck Nicki! Even though I'm pretty sure her Barbz will have her back!

Hey Fashionistas:

When I first went to one of my modeling auditions, it was with FBH. They fell in love with me and they have watched me grow to the fashionista blogger that I am today. As one pf my many supporters, they have helped me in my career by allowing me to host the teen segment of the 2nd Philly Fashion Week that was held in the courtyard of City Hall.

To date I have always been an invited guess and I am excited this year to also be one of the VIP's to attend this years 5th Annual Philly Fashion Week that will take place as a part of the Philadelphia Collection, which I am also participating in as a Style Spotter and one of the selected few invited blogger to cover the many events that will be going down!

The event will take place from September 20-24, 2011 and I am sure that it will be as fabulous as it was last year and the year before, and the year before that!

Since I have been in the fashion business I have crossed many artisticand creative people that take their work seriously, and Sina Washington is one of them. sina Washington is not just a hair stylist, she is a hair artisan who is a master of color, style and the beauty of hair.

Sina is in high demand as a fashion shoot hair artist because she brings so much color and pizazz to her subjects. I was first drawn to the awesome work of Sina when she posted one of her fabulous images on Facebook and she has been a dear friend ever since. i was so excited when she told me that she opened her first salon and I so anxiously wait to sit in her chair.

Just recently I had a chat with my good friend about hair care, the importance of having a really good stylist and why she is irked by clients that din't care for their hair...

YHC: Do you see hairstyling as a spiritual art?

SINA: Absolutely! For me, when a client sits in my chair I get an instant intuition of their energy and what would be a great look for them. It's more than just doing a popular style on someone; its about creating a style FOR them that helps them see themselves to their fullest potential! Also a hair style can takes people through their most personal experiences like a milestones in age, career changes, divorces, marriages, births, graduations...evolution in ones life.

I had a wonderful time during the 17… Days of Fashion but it goes without saying that the best time was at the Celebrities for Charity event that was produced by Naeemah Johnson and her team which included Eboyne Jackson of Divine Influence PR. Naeemah Johnson shut it down and brightened up the city!

My day as usual, started off hectic as I had to run around after classes to get my hair done. I was blessed to sit in the chair of Cree Tristian Troy who is an awesome stylist at NBeauty, Inc. I don’t know if I was oozing my Native American vibe, but she tapped right into who I am and gave me a style fitting of my culture, look, and all out personality.
