Color-blocking is the new hot look for the Summer of 2012! Here I am rocking a beautiful maxi-skirt and shirt by Mariel Rojo! I loved the skirt because it flowed with every step I took and complimented my figure!

I then finished the look off with a pair of soft and delicate earrings by Mijourne and a bold and bright necklace and bracelet by Luxe Baby Jewlery! And who can go wrong with a pair of simple yellow pumps?

Colors have always been a way to MAKE a look, and now with the color-blocking trend, we are able to make our looks pop from head to toe! Above is a layout that I made showcasing the many ways your can "mix and match" looks to have a fashionable outcome! So now I am challenging you fashionistas and fashionistos!

Ready for Spring!!!

With the weather that we have been having on the East Coast, I can't help but think about what I am going to wear in the spring. The spring is one of my favorite times of the year and I love the colors that the cool time of the year brings. I decided that yellow was going to be my color for the year so that is why I chose the pants.

I wanted the white shirt because it makes the pants stand out and the purple necklace with the flowers are complementary to the whole spring look. The bag represents the growing green that surrounds us let us know that the new year is official! I chose the color blocking shoes because I love color blocking to the fullest and the pop of color is my signature! the bracelets that I added are fun and fab so they get added too!!!
