I'm Not Buying It" by Elizabeth Wellington for The Philadelphia Inquirer Blog - Mirror Image. I clicked it almost immedately and began to read. She made the point that she does not actually believe in the fact that Jay-Z will no longer use the B word now that he is a father to a daughter.

Dear Fashionista Diary,

I was just thinking to myself, "What does a Fashionista daydream about having to complete her closet?" I guess it all depends on the fashionista...

I am a shoe lover so it would only be right for me to sometimes daydream of having a big, big, big, room full of shoes! LOL...everything from platform high-heels to fashionable flats! It would be full of racks, and racks of shoes neatly organized with lights to shine over them. 

I would have a full length mirror and a big fluffy chair. And I wouldn’t be selfish with my room full of shoes though I would throw parties and I would be very generous in giving shoes away!

What would complete your closet?

As Native Americans, we believe everyday is Earth Day because what would we do without her and Mother Nature??? But we think that "Earth Day", is a not only a great way to give back to the earth and treat her with the respect that she deserves, but also a great way to be reminded that she is our responsibility and that we should remember that it is her day everyday!

Today is a day to encourgage right thinking when it comes to helping the plants, animals, trees and by doing this we are helping ourselves!

In honor of Earth Day, YHC will be posting loads of articles about 'Green' designers, clothing, accessories, etc not to mention a great interview!

Remember, make a difference not only today but everyday and with that said, "HAPPY EARTH DAY!"

Happy Girlfriend Appreciation Day!

I think everyday should be Girlfriend Appreciation Day, especially when it comes to your bestie. Here are some great ways to show you appreciate your bestie everyday!

1) Don't just be there in good times be there in bad times as well!

We all love to laugh, smile and have lots of happy and fun times with our friends but because we don't live in a fairytale world there will be bad times too. So be ready! Be ready to sit for hours listening to her problems and giving your input. Be ready to give your friend tissue. Just be there-- it doesn't mean that you have to be in the same room, but as long as you show come kind of support she will realize how much you love her.

2) Form a Trust.

We're not just talking about knowing who your bestie like, but things that could be really important. You have to be able to trust each other. You don't want to be best friends with someone that you swear is cool, and then find out they are the complete opposite of what you thought they were. Start slow, don't rush it, if you are truely meant to be bestfriends forever then you will know it!  You both have to show you can trust each other so don't start a friendship on lies.

3) Look out for her AND love her for her!

Simple and plan! :) ENJOY!!!!
