Ready for Spring!!!

With the weather that we have been having on the East Coast, I can't help but think about what I am going to wear in the spring. The spring is one of my favorite times of the year and I love the colors that the cool time of the year brings. I decided that yellow was going to be my color for the year so that is why I chose the pants.

I wanted the white shirt because it makes the pants stand out and the purple necklace with the flowers are complementary to the whole spring look. The bag represents the growing green that surrounds us let us know that the new year is official! I chose the color blocking shoes because I love color blocking to the fullest and the pop of color is my signature! the bracelets that I added are fun and fab so they get added too!!!

FASHION: "Nothing Tastes as Good as Skinny Feels" on children shirts!!! What do you think?

Fashion is always changing but a children's shirt with the saying, "Nothing Tastes as Good as Skinny Feels" takes it to far for me! Not only does it promote bad body image, bad self-esteem, bad eating habits, and etc. for young ladies, but also for adults!

The shirts come in all adult, children and even toddler sizes!

A British clothing website, Zazzle was forced to remove all of their children's T-shirts with the slogan "Nothing Tastes as Good as Skinny Feels"because the Advertising Standards Authority said the saying was "harmful to children". Do you agree? I do.

Where did this quote come from? Well, none other than Supermodel, Kate Moss.

I call this look "In Your Face Chic"!

Inspiration: I am wearing this really awesome T-shirt by “PursueYou” called ‘Face’ and if you look closely at the shirt the collage of pictures make a face!

 Cool right?

Anyway, I decided to go with dark blue skinny jeans and a white platform heels because I thought they would be great with my new shirt and my JLo glasses was the accessory that I needed to make the whole outfit look fly girl chic. So I call this look, “IN YOUR FACE CHIC!!!”

Where/When can you wear this: ANYWHERE, ANYTIME!

Let me know what do you think and be sure to vote!

I call this look "All that Glitters"!

Inspiration: I was feeling very sparkly when I woke up and I thought about Jill Scott and "Golden" and knew that this was the look that I wanted. I have on a sleeveless tank with gold paint and zippers. A short carnigan with metallic pieces on the shoulders. Dark blue skinny legs with gold spray and glittery gold jeans.

Hey Fashionistas,

I know you are wondering how you can help bring relief for those in Japan. It was a very tragic situation and they need support. There were so many natural disaters that occurred that it was almost surreal...

Well, the awesome designer, Tory Burch, has created a very cute t-shirt  entitled, "Japan Relief T-shirt" where the full proceeds of the shirt  (according to the Tory Burch Blog) goes to the American Red Cross to help those in need in Japan!

The shirt, sizes XS-L, will be sold for $29 until September 15, 2011, some being pre-sold at ToryBurch.com and soon in select Tory Burch boutiques.

Get into action and buy one now!

I call this look "Classy LumberJill"!

Inspiration: I was really inspired by the lumberjack look. I decided to wear this plaid shirt with the bubble bottom because it gives a chic look to a construction style. I added the big black waist belt for flair. I am also wearing blue jeggings and tan open-toe boots, to give me a fly girl look.

Clothing all from my closet shoes

I call this look "B-Girl Nerdy Chic"!

Inspiration: I was really inspired by the 80s era when I put this look together. I decided to wear a lime green cropped shirt with a layered simple orange tee and some jeggings! I added some bright stand-out accessories and a pair of bright yellow shoes!
